A beach near Big Sur California using a long exposure to smooth out the waves just after sunset.

An offshore wind gave a nice effect on the waves coming in. This is on Cannon Beach south of Haystack rock.

This is part of a series of pictures that I took on a very stormy day at Cannon Beach near Haystack Rock. There were many interesting wave forms created by waves hitting against Haystack Rock and rolling back into the oncoming waves.
